Adults $5 each per day

Children aged 17 and under free (must be accompanied by a parent)

Join us for a weekend of macro photography in Northcliffe's majestic forests and heathlands! We will get some tips from nature photographer Melissa Zappelli and spend lots of time over the weekend searching for our local tiny treasures - insects, peacock spiders and our beautiful wildflowers in peak season.

 

There are plenty of great events to join in on over the weekend:

 

DAY 1 - Friday 17 October

NOCTURNAL BUG PHOTOGRAPHY HUNT
Meet Wendy at Northcliffe Visitor Centre 7pm with a torch and your camera to see what bugs you can find in Northcliffe Forest Park.

 

DAY 2 - Saturday 18 October

FLORA PHOTOGRAPHY DAY 

Come along for a day of flora and wildflower photography in Windy Harbour and D'Entrecasteau National Park to explore the recent burn areas between Mt Chudalup and Salmon Beach.  Meet at the Windy Harbour Sea Rescue Hall at 10am. Morning tea provided.  Let us know in advance if you have any allergies.  BYO picnic lunch and drinks.

DAY3 - Sunday 19 October

MACRO NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY TALK

9am at NCRC Meeting Space.  Join us for Melissa Zappelli's talk on macro and nature photography with cake, tea and coffee.

PEACOCK SPIDER & FLORA WALK

Mid morning - 10am-12pm, meet at NCRC to walk through Northcliffe Forest Park to photograph the local blooms and karri peacock spiders.​​

Please wear sturdy enclosed walking shoes and note we will be walking on uneven ground. Children must be supervised by an adult.
